Food at Sal Salis is taken very seriously - you may be in a remote location however your meals will definitely not be lacking ! Our chef creates a contemporary daily set menu focused on seasonal, local produce, with hints of bush food and of course fresh fish.
We aim to support our local producers so you will find excellent Western Australian wines on offer, alongside other regions, as well as beers, spirits and a wide selection of soft drinks and juices.
Meals are shared with your fellow guests and are served at either the lodge of on the deck. A continental breakfast is accompanied by a daily cooked option and lunch is a light 2 courses. Around sunset, whether you are on a gorge walk or down by the beach, canapes are served, which you can enjoy with a glass of wine whilst the guides brief you on the following days outline and activities - often dependent on weather and tides. Dinner is the real foodie highlight - a 3-course meal which is perfectly executed in a camp kitchen !
