Sal Salis – Magic Moments

Media Release 14 August 2017 – for immediate release

The pop-up shop has become a massive trend in the retail industry over the past few years, so Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef decided to take inspiration and bring the pop-up experience to their eco-luxe camp to give their guests a truly memorable experience!

The team at Sal Salis treat their guests to a number of pop-up experiences, including a surprise beach BBQ breakfast, an ice cream stand or a DIY gin and tonic booth depending on the time of day! These extras add a touch of magic and unexpected pleasure to an already remarkable holiday.

Sal Salis Camp Manager, Candice Shaw, explained how these little treats really do add something special to the whole experience and leave their guests on cloud nine.

“We love delighting our guests with little surprises.  A stay at our camp is all inclusive, so our guests don’t pay extra for these little indulgences. Waking up as the sun rises over the Ningaloo Reef and seeing the beach breakfast BBQ is guaranteed to put a smile on guest faces. There’s something special about sipping hot coffee with your toes in the sand.

“After a day of snorkelling or hiking, our guests are like little kids at Christmas when they see our surprise ice cream stand! Everyone, no matter what age, ALWAYS goes for the sprinkles! When we bring out our DIY gin and tonic booth, featuring Western Australian gins like Hippocampus and West Winds, our guests often comment that it’s the best sundowner they’ve ever had. They get to “pimp” their G&T with lemon, lime, a sliver of red chilli or capsicum, a sprig of rosemary or good old-fashioned cucumber.

“Our guests come to Sal Salis to be immersed in our unique natural environment. They can swim with whale sharks and humpback whales, wake up to kangaroos on their deck and see our resident echidna cruising camp. We know they want to switch off, relax and get back to nature. But if we can surprise them a couple of times with a special added extra, that’s when we really know we’ve done our job! It’s the little details that cause guest to pause, appreciate, and often lead to the most memorable moments.”
