COVID vaccination requirements
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our number one priority. Given this, all guests staying at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We kindly ask all Sal Salis guests to provide a copy of their vaccination certificate to [email protected] no more than 14 days after their booking has been confirmed. Once it has been confirmed against your booking, we will destroy your vaccine certificate safely.

We have implemented mandatory COVID screening tests on arrival and throughout your stay. All guests will be required to carry out a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to arriving at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, but on the same day as arrival. Acceptable proof of this test is a photograph taken on a mobile phone that clearly shows the negative test result and includes identification within the same photo. Your ID may be a driver’s licence, passport or any other similar photo identification. We will sight these photos at the point of first contact with Sal Salis staff, at Exmouth Airport, Yardie Creek or the arrivals car park. If no photo is shown, our staff will supply a RAT and ask you to carry out this test. Regrettably, if you return a positive test result, you won’t be able to enter the camp, and in this case, our staff will be happy to assist with making alternative arrangements.
We will also provide additional RAT kits for daily testing to be carried out for the duration of your stay. Typically, tests will be issued in the evening, to be used in guest tents the following morning, before coming to the lodge. Details of how and when to use the kits will be provided on site, along with information on what to do in the case of a positive test. This will include isolation and onward arrangements, in line with WA Health guidelines.
